    eBay Hydro Build

Thought about buying this little hydro on eBay and running the AQU Motor and esc with an X445 on 4s.

Ill be picking up and the Mini hardware rudder ect. from OSE, then maybe paint this little beast a hot pink lol

Would it take this setup or is that to much for 16"

That thing is comparable in size to the Minicat Racing hydro & hydromite. a 540 motor will not fit under the hood I'm afraid.

Diego do you think a lower set mount like this one will work so that I can run a 540...

you will have to consider the size of the esc as well and the batts. after all that, you have to wonder if it'll still float.

If you look at their website they also sell the boat as an ARTR with a 2604kv motor, for a 3s setup with a 50A ESC. The motor size looks to be a long 380 size I think. They don't specify. They claim 85km/h on a 30mm prop. All for $160.00
                Here's a link for comparison.

An X445 and that power, as Jim stated is it April the first again?

Your such a funny guy, haha so funny. Nice that you took the consideration to answer a few questions on subject.

This was an Idea, Just a simple question if this setup would work... Nobody said it has to work.....

If you ran a smaller mah 4s lipo it should still be buoyant enough to keep one 4s lipos and a motor and esc not much bigger or heavier than the original setup on the one aRTR for $160.00.

Ok seriously I doubt you would be able to keep that setup on the water if it would float. There is a an awfull lot of torque in that motor. That setup motor pushes 1/10th scale hydros 36 inches long and 6 pounds rtr at nearly 50mph on a 4s 5000mah
