I know the gasser one of your cat my mate setup over here was 34%. Make it adjustable with your batteries around that figure maybe?

Tyler is right, make it so that you can move the Cg with your batteries and allow from 27% out to 35% of the wet length of the hull.
Jay and Jesse may come along soon to add more, if not then PM them.

The magic number to use as a starting point always seems to be 30% from transom.
This has worked for me on cats, monos, DVs, and even a gas crackerbox.
As the guys have said, provide enough adjustment with the batteries to move this c/g + or - about 5% to suit the particular hull and water conditions.

Simon O. has got it. Allow for adjustment. Depends on hull, water conditions and strut angle. I am playing with the cog being farther forward and a bow-up strut angle vs. rearward cog and wetter strut angle.... no data yet, but will be working on that. I always make two marks on the hull - 25% and 33%. Haven't spent much time on the 33% side, but the faster you go, the more you will need to fine tune this balance.
