    Problem with Etti150

Hey guy's i have an Ettie 150 non bec controller that i have setup for 4s lipo, and i don't seem to be getting full revs out of it. My setup is Feigao 580 6L Polyrc 6000 4s Spektrum Dx3r. I've checked all solder joints, connections, all batteries have been fully charged. I radio settings are throttle trim set to 0, throttle travel is set to 150%-150%, i've tried it at 125%-125% 100%-100% and 150%-0%. I've also tried changing the timing on the controller and still no good. I've followed the instructions down to the letter and still can't work out what's going on. Motor and receiver are all fine as they work with my other controllers.
    Anyone have any idea's ?

Is this a SAW setup? The 6L on 4s will do 61000 rpm. The bearings are only rate rated for 50k. If it is not a SAW setup that is way to hot of a motor for 4s.

Thanks for your concern, but i've been running and racing this setup for nearly 6mths without any problems.

I assume you set your timing right? and all the other settings? try to start over again - I know, pain in the butt. I had some fun with mine too, but reprogrammed a couple times and it works now.

I read that wrong. The RPM is if you were using the 540 motor, not the 580. Your setup is fine. Out of curiosity how many amps are you drawing with that setup?

How did you calculate this because the 580L6 does 2154 rpm/volt x 4s 14,4 volt =31.000 where are the other 30.000 rpm coming from ?

changed timming from 4deg to 7 and back again, tried different types of power up ways.

What i need is some who is using the same transmitter and esc to give their settings

I misread it. You get 60000 rpms if you would use the specs for the 540 6L.

Ok i just did a RPM comparison between the etti 150 and hydra 240 using my V2 data logger.
With the ettie the recorded RPM was 34722
with the 240 the recorded RPM was 35460
thats a difference of 738 RPM
Am i worring over nothing or is there a problem with the etti 150

I would say you are worrying about nothing. The hydra 240 is just able to put out a little more voltage than the Etti can.

The 240 is allowing more amps through the system..

Might I ask what prop you are running with the 580 6L?
