    Phill thomas sport 20 hull

Anyone know how fast a Phill Thomas sport 21 hull is capable of? Im looking for a 80-90 mph hull to replace my crashed hull.
PT-45, 109mph, finally gave up after last bad crash
    H&M 1/8 Miss Bud 73 mph
    Chris Craft 16 mph

Nowhere near 80-90 mph with any practical setup. Even a SAW-only setup would be tough, the hull has lots of lift and would require some hull work to stay on the water at those speeds. IME it's relaly too small for 60+ on anything but flat water. The SS21 was designed for speeds in the high 50s to low 60s max with nitro engines. Using more power with FE motors doesn't change the physics of the hull. Only a few, larger FE riggers are raceable on an oval at those speeds.
