Here's a good reason to check to make sure no one has their tx turned on with the same freq! Has anyone seen a brushless (hacker 77 esc, 12XL) run reverse due to interference? It sure freaked me out!

yes I have but it was an 8xl, hacker 70, and it was on a spektrum radio, thats what really freaked me out, good thing it was not my boat but one of the other racers. -
That happened with the spektrum? Was the other tx able to control the boat. Or was it just severe glitching?Steven Vaccaro

I'm using a Hitec Agresssor 3ch fm, there was another guy with his tx left on after his run. I was just shocked to see the MM go under like that, I didn't think it was capable of running in reverse, guess I was wrong?Comment

As soon as the other guy turned his transmitter off the problem went away, I'm just glad it made it to shore without damage.Comment

the boat I seen was a custom built p sport hydro It was its first run 12 cells x435 prop, boat went about 120ft stopped then started to go backwards, stopped and after 30 seconds was fine, the guy has been running with me almost every sunday, and has had the same spektrum 2.0 for over a year. and it was the only boat powered up at the time.Last edited by Jeepers; 06-05-2007, 10:51 PM.Comment
