      It's pretty cool that we can do this now... Imagine how light one could make an M2-Hydro now... Also, the size/shape of the hull can be different, because you don't have to carry the bulk of 4 sub-Cs... I'm thinking some serious streamlining may be possible...

      On top of it all... Horizon Hobby carry's the Novak line, so I can get this through them and not step outside of my agreement...

      Perhaps you need to get that proposal rammed through to allow Lipos in M-2, and we can have some fun this October in LA???

        This thing doesn't look like a driving unit.

        6V x 3A = 18W, what speed can you expect from this little friend for an FE ?

          This unit is not a unit to boost the battery power to the motor... it boosts the BEC power to the radio gear to keep it at a 4.8 to 6.0V level. A 1S Lipo pack only produces 4.2V, which is not enough to reliably power an RX, servo, etc...

          Cool idea that has some pretty interesting applications.
