Does anyone have a Prather Lap Cat I?

=> pictured in the middle three_boats.jpg

If so, what is your experience with one of these?

Ben, I have one send me a pm and I will talk to you about my thoughts on this boat.

    Edit

As an aside this company no longer makes boats. Ben, are you looking at a used nitro boat? Answer and I will send you a pm

Ben, the only way I can reply is via a PM, as I do not wished to be flamed and I have not received one from you as of this date and time, but if you are serious on this hull give me a shout.

Since I spent maybe 10 years or more out of the hobby, I missed a lot of stuff. I came across this boat and wanted to know more about it. To be honest, I am specifically interested to find out if the inside edges of the tunnel are parallel or toed in at the bow. And if so, by how much (in degrees or portion thereof).

I'm on a personal mission to go through the different design changes over the years and coming to my own conclusions as to which improvements have different results. Only by reviewing design improvements can I take advantage of these designs while operating or setting up boats in the future.

I just hate to be oblivious regarding the what or why one thing works better than another. Meanwhile, I can appreciate that some things work better with others and why they don't work as well with something else. I hope that makes sense.

Right now, posting pictures would be most helpful.

        Thanks.

Why not post them here? I know many of us like to examine design updates over the years. Do you have reservations regarding posting the pictures?

                Great pictures! Thanks.

Is the bow towed in? What is the difference in width of the inside edge of the tunnel section from the transom to the bow?

Thanks for putting up with all of the questions.

Sweet. I have this idea that I've been sketching some builds for the future all wrong. Now for more data...

I have to see what the overall angle of difference is and make a comparison for each hull including their attitude on the water.

Ben, you are very welcome, as builders who design their own boats, I truly respect as all I can do is stick the hardware in the hull and paint it.

Doug have you run that hull with electric? If so how did you power it?

Yes, Steven here is an answer to a pm. The persons name has been deleted ,fine, apart from me loosing my temper and almost being banned!
The original power was an aquacraft Ep-1, as I wanted a semi scale look and it was modified to run anS27 power plant and it sucked. I have recently ordered a bottom leg conversion kit and plan an XL motor, size still to be decided.
The Ep-1 was also modified to run a Y535

You can paint? You're doing better than me then
