If I understand correctly, there should be TWO of those battery banks!? Any progress on its creation, Gerwin?

I guess at some point, fireproofing may become applicable. It's easy enough to replace a few items in the boats we run. To replace all of that? Ouch!

Are we sure it's not running counter-rotating props like some of the big boys? It makes sense though that the motors would be tied together. I just blows my mind how much as system like this would load and unload a prop while skipping across the water. That is some data logger numbers I'd like to see!

Nice boat, thanks for posting Gerwin

I admire the soldering skills and the concentration required to get it all right first time..cool..

@ Brod : They use templates for soldering.
It looks gigantic, but remember they are "only" 12S packs !

@ lomdel : yes, 1 packs for each side
@ Meniscus : of course the are running counter-rotating.

I meant on the same shaft, one inside another and two props rotating in different directions, one right behind another.

                  like a Duoprop ?

sounds like a lot of moving parts to break lol

Not trying to drag this one off topic.
Counter rotating is what we all know and love on twins.
Ben, I think you are asking about Contra rotating props. Matt suggested the Duoprop.
Lots of moving parts, not hard to do but other than for scale, why ??

I'll shoot a new thread up to discuss this one.

Now back to the little electric toy boat.

                    Just winding you up guys.
                    I love this boat.

question is how do you put 2 motors inline with each other
some of these Lehner are designed to be coupled together inline
