why would i need to run them on 240amp esc's when they only draw 77??....a 120 amp esc should be plently

You want to run your esc at least at 100% more than the max current draw so you don't fry the esc the second you punch it out of a corner. The max draw number you see is for what the motor will pull in a straight line. In corners you'll probably pull around 120-130 with the 8xl. So if you wanted you could run a 160-180 amp esc but incase you pull a bit more even that esc may get damaged. I'm running an 8xl in my blackjack 26 with a hydra 240 without the bec and an x642 prop, and it gets warm. Imagine what a lower ampped esc would be like.

Your better to err on the side of caution than burn out an esc in the next 6-12 runs.

the max current of a motor really doesnt tell you a lot as it may be 83 amps but depending on voltage and load it could draw 20 amps or 200 amps

hey guys could i get some body to post a pic of how the stuffing tube comes out the bottom of your boat and into the strut...and if i use a flex cable is it ok to bend the stuffing tube a lil bit to where it needs to be??

Yes, if you are using a flexi drive you can bend the stuffing tube to fit.

as for a radio box i'm going to run over to candian tire or what ever and get one of those small plano tackle box things...there water proof and should fit good in there..

Yes it is the same one. The flex shaft is a .150 diameter and so is the stuff. tube.
There is no drive-dog with it but if you get the beefed up sv27 flex shaft you'll get the .150 cable and drive-dog assembled.

Those look like 380 brushed motors with vacumn sealed mounts. I don't see any hope for this hull except to chop out all the plastic motor mounts and build new ones for a couple of 700's. You can't do anything about the shafts so work around them. Why is there 2 servos? Don't mean to bum you out but I'm doing the same thing where I was told it can't be done, I'm up to 200 bucks to prove them wrong but I'm getting close as long as my ESC gets here from Hong Kong on a Chinese junk that the North Koreans didn't Nuke
