I purchased a 26 OV and assembled it myself ,but was un sure wheather to install the trim tabs . I don't race the boat ,just the occasional pond run and sometimes in a small river. Is there any advantages to putting on the trim tabs?
The boat runs in the mid 30's with 2- 6 cell 3300amh batteries. Just wondering if I'm missing out on something.

if it handles ok, then your are fine. if it porpoises more than you care for or becomes unstable, then you might try em. usually help in rougher water

I also built the boat a few years ago and installed the trim tabs. I can't compare to without trim tabs as I've never run it like that. It's best to ask BBY questions like that.
