Yes
Your right, it appears to be one day and fun runs in 2009 and a larger event in 2010
Classes appear to be timed, very simple though and $$$ limited.
Did you ever attend Andy? I am not going to say anything about NAMBA's revolving door of rule changes. The NAMBA site and NAMBA nats do not even agree from what I see. I am going to just stop right there.
thanks,

Steve,
I can't afford to run at an event that has new rules every time. I like to be able to run my boats consistenly from year to year, like I can do with NAMBA. Sure, sometimes things change, but that's part of the sport. But to make things totally opposite from one year to the next, EVERY year?!?! Even NASCAR is more consistent than Batavia's big club race.
Running it on the same course is event suicide. How many mid-west boaters will NOT go simply because of the site? They already learned that lesson.
Will the High Points formula be a secret? Nobody could figure out how the previous winner got it - guys who ran more boats and did better in a normal venue were baffled.
If Jeff can decide to run by a standard set of rules - even if some classes are IMPBA and some are NAMBA - it would make it a lot more appealing. Shoot, it's only 2 hours from me, I'd probably go. But I won't even think about it if it's the same game as it's always been.
