    Medusa Motors, anyone using them?

    i have a 36-50-2200 v2 in my" head of the river" cat.im very satisfied with motor performance.low temps and nice torque.my next motor will be a longer medusa can.if with 50mm long motor i have so much torque....i cant imagine what a 60 or 70mm will do....wheelies on a boat..

            I have a 3670-1600 on 5s in my Whiplash 20, The OSE cooling jacket slid right on with ease.http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...ose-mjacket-XL.

                    I am running a Medusa V2 3680-1600KV with 6S 5.2Ah 25C LiPo in my 32" Delta Force CyberStorm deep vee, speed is 93km/h with a Y537-3blades, temps are great. I love this blue monster !

                      Sounds like these motors are doing well in boats, 60 mph is quick. What diameter flex shaft are you running? I was thinking about perhaps putting that same motor in my 29" sprint cat on 4s. Any thoughts? thx

                        Just got a response from their sales guy and dealer prices.


                        Thank you for your interest in our motors.
                        Our motor performance and specifications are as good as Neu but at over half the price.


                        I will consider being a dealer unless Steve is going to. Not near the mark up as china motors so maybe they are actually better components.

                        I do think think motors will beat anything china has to offer. 60/70 and 80mm motors.

                          Great!! Would be nice to have a less expensive NEU option for that size range. I've heard nothing but great things about these motors so far.

                            Might want to test that theory in real world conditions first... You generally get what you pay for... and that's a pretty boastful claim...

                            The samples I've seen, that were suppose to match up with specific Neu applications... don't...
