    Mystery 80 amp ESC Watercooling

I tried searching on here and RRR with no results at all.

Anyone got any 1-2 on the watercooling of this esc?

Thinking about running it in one of my Supervee's.
Just need to get it watercooled first.

    Thanks

Easiest way is to slide brass tube in the air cooling fins.

The better way is to remove that fin unit and make sure the fet tops are all touching the cooling fin. Some sand them down so they are all flush and then put the cooling fin back on or install a new plate with brass or alum soldered together to cool the plate better.

      Sounds pretty easy.

I havent done any measure yet, but how does the OSE cooling plate match up to this ESC?

Probably about twice as wide or a bit less. My Mystery 80 is only about 1" or so wide.

mine also is only about an inch wide, of course.

What all is needed to remove and reinstall the cooling plate?

Plenty of small fans to mount to it do a search on here and on RR you will finds lots of info on it. A lot think it does a better job of cooling than water

I've done this one mine, the one shown below is a Swang 100A

It is made if a 2mm thick aluminium sheet and a 6mm thick plastic block in witch I milled the water path, the path is 5mm wide and 1mm deep

the ESC is silicon coated to make it waterproof and fireproof!
