    Running with or w/o BEC

    Hi guys
My ETTI esc has a built in BEC. Some say it may interfere with radio signal. Is this true? IF not, then what would be the benifit running w/o it? Save a little batt time?

Tony, read and search the forums under BEC, you will find the answer. I do not understand people that buy a product without due dilligence. Tony I can be ornery and removing the BEC is very simple

I have always run stand alone bec units with great success. I never usd the onboard bec. It's probably mor personal preference but I know it works well.

, Its more of a personal preference. I had been running with builtin BEC w/o any glitches.

I run all my esc's with bec as I don't want the extra weight of the bec batt. I'd rather just increase my mah on the drive batts to increase run times. The only esc I run without bec is my hydra 240 because I want to run three 10000mah 2S 7.4V Battery Pack in series (30000mah 6s 22.2V) for maximum longevity and speed. Without the bec I could only run a max of half of what I can run, but I think only certain esc's can do this. Either way I truly believe that the posts on here mimic my logic that this is a personal preference.
