Where do you take your boat?

Ok where does everyone take their boat to run? I am going to take mine to an Army Corps of Engineers lake that was made in the 70's after Agnes came through. It is Blue Marsh Lake outside of Reading, PA. Think by the pics I have enough room to run?:) What you see is just a small portion of it.

i run my boats in my back yard....its a small/medium size lake...not good for large boats but its about 200 yards long, so its good for straitaways...only about 30-40 feet wide on my side, but from the shore to 10 feet out on both sides of the lake has lilly pads and weeds everywhere...the other side o the lake is atleast 50-60ish feet wide with no lilly pads (on one side) so its better to run over there....

oh yeah...theres a much large lake over by a park just outside of my neighborhood...its about 20x as large as the one in my back yard, but its a hassle to get there because i dont have a car and its just too far away to carry a bunch of boat stuff to...only times i go there is when my parents want to take me...

              Houghton Lake Michigan!!!!

The lake is huge so there is always a place to run it. The downfall to the lake is that is so big it has a tendency to get too rough to run the boat. My neighbors are great about me running the boat, we all hate the ducks so they dont mind me chasing away.

I run mine in a marina on Lake st. clair, michigan. The good thing to that is there is always deep water, the problem with it is if im not going fast enough through the turns i wont be able to make the turn.

Here is where I run , its in an industrial area , very private. There are two ponds that are used as runoff water overflow areas for all the parking lots in the area. The best thing is that you can drive right to the waters edge :)
