[QUOTE=paulwilliams;85508]Lol I smell the farmyard here. As the Airborne Jock says, the worst that will happen is rust, not an explosion.

I have the greatest respect for my colonial brothers, no matter what crimes their ancestors might have committed to get them transported to the colonies all those years ago.

If our glorious leader Broon and his sidekick Captain Darling screw up the economy any more, I'll be joining you guys, though preferably somewhere without the spiders that live under the toilet seat and bite you on the *****.

LOL, I used to know a guy and after seeing a spider at 8 inches, he'd say "Oh that's just a house spider" <= saying with an accent.

Did not expect them to be that waterproof.
I have had several occasions when the boat was on the wrong side of the water. Got the boat back removed the lipos and cleaned them up, made sure they were dry and charged them. I have never had one blow up on me because they were wet.

I simply use my finger to force silicon sealer down in between & around the wires, in under the edge of the heat shrink & over the ends of the pack. I also smear some up the wires a bit too.
The trick is to make sure that silicon gets between each balance wire & between all wires & the heatshrink.

Some of my batteries have had a good dunking without any problems.
            All the best.
