best bang for the buck lipos

I was curious as to what lipos you guys like. I picked up two boats that both run 4s and 5000 or 6000 would be nice in them both. I got a titen vee and skunkworks cat on the way so want to get a surplus of lipos to put through them. I have heard the zippy-h lipos are awesome for the price and I actually have a 6s one for my 600esp just havnt flown it yet. So what do you guys recomend? Thanks again OSE.

Elite and Hyperion's new Lipo's look great for the price. I picked up two 4s packs for my Delta Force that I plan to beat up this season. If I wasn't so lazy I would have got a few runs in today to test them out.

both of the boats are running the sv27 electronics setup so i imagine a 4s 5000mah 20-30c battery would be good. i searched but didnt find too much. im leaning towards the zippy h more and more but the rhinos and flightmax have crazy low prices.

The Flightmax 30-40c are ok, and a great price $75 US)http://www.unitedhobbies.com/UNITEDH...0mAh_4S1P_30C_. Just take care of them and set your cut off properly.
These are not quite as good as the PQ and other known brand 30c but at this price who cares!

I am lookin at some new hyperion 35C lipos and will see what I can do on offering a good A buddy of mine is becoming a dealer of them and he is usllay pretty fair with me on prices. I put these up with the very best of the best in lipos. Anymore I am waiting for the next level of lipo and these I think are true numbers. Beware of the cheaper...might be a big increase coming from NIMI but even the 35C compared to the 20-25C is like going from HIMI to lipo. Big difference.

What kind of prices would we be looking at for these. Never gone over 25c and I want my boats to run well nut not break the bank. Sound like nice cells.

hey bud be careful some of these companies advertise higher c ratings and there just not that high, alot of top end racers are using the new marine power batteries they are a little more expensive but worth the money. I won 3 classes in florida wave blasters race with the newMARINE POWERS. DOUG

Doug is very right. Many of the cheaper cells may say 20-25 but can hardly really give it up without some serious heat or worse. Poly, Hyperion and Flightpower seem to really have their numbers at what they are.

Most sport setups will not hit 100+ amps continuous. Also, pulling 50-70 amps from a true 35C cells will be a walk in the park for them so you can expect much longer life from them...if treated right anyway.

Well my boats are both going to be running the SV electronics so I dont think they will be pulling that many amps as long as I dont do something dumb with the props. In fact I will probably just leave the boats be and just enjoy them as they are. I didnt realize though the the SV electronics could handle 4s. I like flightpower and those are what I fly in my 450 but I dont want to spend that much money for just sport running around the lake.

I have been using Thunderpower lipos... Just bought two Zippy Flightmax 7.4v 4000mAh 25C. They are way cheaper than TP lipos, but work just as well.

I'm up to 3 sets of the Zippy Flightmax 7.4 25C 5000mAh and just ordered 2 sets of 4S 5000 packs as well. So far they are holding up well, they run the coolest of any of my 2S packs, PQ and PolyRC included.

For the price, SO FAR, they can't be beat.
