    Motor mount problem

I was working on my boat and I put the 700 in with the mount to test fit and the motor sits too low. I have a gap between the inner hull and the mount. It must be at least a .25 inches, and that is without the cooling jacket on the motor. Anybody got any suggestions? If I cut the inner hull I would gain some space but not a whole lot plus I would expose the motor to any water that might get into the main portion of the hull. I have a Super Hawaii knock off hull.

Run down o the LHS and grab some bass wood. cut a couple blocks on an angle them foward so it drops the output shaft down and kicks up the end bell. Bend the stuffin tube to match up. Thats what I'd do.

Ken takin another look raising it a quarter to 3/8ths on a slight angle would work also..then only a slight bend would have to be made to the tube

What to use to attach the wood to the interior hull? Should I jb weld the hell out of it then mount the mount to the wood with screws and jb weld some more?

Yup that would work just fine. be sure and seal the wood up with the JB or epoxy. Drill poilet holes for the screws as not to crack the blocks.:)
