For those of you who are NAMBA Members, it appears that a group has put together a proposal for 1/10th Scale FE as a class in NAMBA. The proposal and ballot were mailed out in the March 2009 PropWash... I can't seem to find an online version of the proposal. If I do find it, I'll post the link here...
From what I understand, the major 1/10th scale clubs together, along with some people from Puget Sound Fast Electrics, and all hashed it out to try to make something that would work for NAMBA. I saw of rough draft of this several months ago and voiced some concerns (abiguities, etc.), but apparently this is what we get. I believe the group passed this around to several others across the country as well to get feedback.
If you don't get too wrapped up in the rules, it's a really fun class, and the P-Spec power systems are MORE than enough power for these boats... unless you build a heavy pig...
Vote away...
