    Where To Buy Capacitors

I need to replace the capacitors on a hydra 240. Does anyone know where I can buy them? Will a different brand aside from rubycon work?
    Rubycon ZLH 35v 390uf 105degC
    Thanks

I would also check radioshack they may or may not have it depending on how stocked they are.

While you are replacing your present ones, you may want to add a few more. You know, for a little more insurance. Any local electronics store should have them. Personally I would stick with Rubycon if you can get them.

How would i go about adding more? It looks like its a tight space just to solder the 4 back on.

Thanks for the link. I'll check radio shack first, if I don't have any luck I'll order from there.

Twist the leads together, then you solder them to the board. I would add at least 2 more. Any little bit helps.

I highly recommend you to use 35v 1000uf caps, more safer and can handle high ripple current

Yeah they do, but it is much better than the stock one, like I said it can handle high ripple current, i have also hydra 240 and I've install one 35v 2200uf, so far no heat issue at all.

Do you have a picture of what it looks like with the 2200 on it. I have plenty of room where my esc is located

Its the same function like those ETTI caps module, but if u wanna go for a simple and cheaper, just install it like I do, I even wanna try 4000uf if I can find one, its going to be pretty big

Its hard to see in the picture how its wired. Are there two wires from each side of the cap going to the upper and lower board?
