    Encounter with the shoreline

When I was running I misjudged shore turned and I ran over the mud a little bit. Luckly there was not much damage as can be seen in the photo. How should I fix it? I was think of filling it with epoxy and making sure it is smooth. Will this work?

a spot of jb weld will work...just put a small amount on, push it into the hole, and use a paper towel to wipe away the exces....JB weld works better than epoxy becasue its not as runny....

If just the gel is chipped off I would put a dab of med ca on the chipped area.
The reason I suggest ca is because some of it will wick into the hole and make a strong bond.

Thanks for the input. I am just glad I did not wreck anything else. Is the one of the screws on the Speedmaster rudder supposed to snap so it will not break the rudder? Because the brass screw either broke or fell off before it went up on shore.

The speedmaster combo I purchased from you did have a brass screw on the bottom for the rudder. I am a bit confused on what you are trying to say.

Maybe a little extreme but,..... Knowing me I would use white gel coat with red color added and mix It with cabisil for a thick texture. Let dry, wet sand and buff.
