Figuring the Continuous Amp Output of Lipos

Ok it is my understanding that this is the formula for figuring the continuous ams output of one's batteries:

"C" rating X Mah rating of pack= continuous amps output

    Is this correct.

Well when I use this on a battery I have say

30c X 5200= 156000 WOW that is 156 thousand. How could that be?????

    You don't have a 5200 amp pack , its a 5200 mah, thats 5.2 amps. try again

      30C 5200mah

      C X AH = amp rating

      30C X 5200mah / 1000 = 156 amps

      30C X 5.200ah = 156 amps

        Ok,
Now if I hook 2 2450mah batteries in parallel with 20c rating what will be the cont. amp draw on each battery and on the par combined?

          Same as a 4900 mah pack X 20 C =98 amps
I wouldn't plan on running more then 70% of these numbers for good pack usable life ( # of cycles ) or 70% of pack capacity.
