Out of the 5 boats I've bought in the past 6 months (NQD Admiral 40", Proboat mini-c, Apache 24 ep, Blackjack 26bl, Blackjack 55) I've come to like the Blackjack 26 bl the best and therefore have played around with it's setup the most. As I'm new to the rc boating venue I've made some comments about how fast I'd like to see this thing go. In most cases I'm guessing you guys think I'm nuts, or retarded or hell even both. But from reading lots of the posts here on the site these are the things I want to do to my boat for looks and or performance, so pls stay with me on my crack head ideas. Laugh if you want too as well.
Unless I'm going to run into severe performance or explosive problems, this is what I now have in mind for the Blackjack hull.
Motor: 7-8XL
Batteries: 4900 Trak Power Li-po
Speed Control: Castle Creations Hydra 240
Motor Mount: OSE Water cooled
Radio: Spectrum SR3300T
Servo: Futaba
Rudder: OSE Aluminum
Prop: Octura x642 or Grimracer 40-52/3
Drive system: stock rudder/shaft combo
