there is not any local clubs in the st. louis area. check one of the lhs down there im sure there has to be some sort of club racing. if they dont know put up a flyer in the shop to try to get some people together.

depends on your definition of 'close'. at a guess a couple of the closer events are; 'The MAZO Fun Run' in july, and 'batavia' in august.
which class boats do you have ready(or near ready) to race?

thanx fluid........part time there are only nitro and gas clubs here is the stl if i had more people interested i would talk to them abou makin a fe class but its also in east st. louis which is not the greatest area......GHETTO...... rex i have a brushless powered catamaran 43.2 mph top so far on 14 cells....and a sv27.... im also tryin to work a deal with my uncle on his f1 tunnel he has

well for the mazo event(july 20-22), the cat would have to drop 2 cells(down to 12) as we're not running any classes higher than "P"(Namba 12cellmax), the sv could go in any of 3 classes; stock(no mods)*, P-Mono, or P-Offshore.
if you want to race entry fee is $25(spectating is free) and you need to have the form postmarked no later than june 15. if you decide to race PM me your email addy, I'll see if I can scronge up an entry form :)
*stock=minimal changes using aq stock parts,paint. exception we would suggest changing the radio tho.

i know all about that area i used to haul steel out of granit city steel. madison area is a pretty easy drive from where u live .

If there is anyway you can go, Im sure it would be worth the travel, Ive raced with two FE clubs now and EVERYBODY has been really cool and willing to share ideas, parts, and setup stuff. There is only one problem, once you go, your hooked for good!! :D
