    Gundert Whip Antennas

Do these antennas unscrew from the base like the marine antennas that Deans use to sell? I am looking for a removable antenna that doesnt need tools like the Dumas with the alan screw. I have used my 3 deans antennas and need more... If anyone has any deans for sale I am interested.

I found the answer to antennas. I switched all of my boats to the TACTIC 2.4ghz radio that comes with the Aquacraft UL-1. Receivers are $25 each and there is NO ANTENNA...NONE...NADA...Zilch. Only drawback is there aren't many functions on the transmitters and no model memories. You have to go back to old school and reduce or increase throws mechanically. No biggie! If I run into a boat that I just MUST have more exotic settings, I'll use one of my Airtronics 2.4ghz systems.

I'm gonna have a bunch of JR 300S and 310S synthesized receivers for sale soon!

the gundert antennas do unscrew from the base, It is easy to remove them by hand for transport and storrage. I have them on two boats and like them a lot

Can someone or anyone post some upclose pictures of the Gundert Antenna mounted?

And also a picture of where the receiver antenna wire attaches to the whip antenna.

            Please and thank you
