    Dual SV Powerd Super Hawai

Ran the SH for the second time today in about a 20 Mph wind and boy did it fly , although still horribly unstable,,,,needs turn fins reallllly badlllly

On the plus side , Navibe says 41.5 Mph :) on 12 cells , next week will try 14 cells,,, not to bad !

I have a great video the runs for about 4 minutes that the girlfriend took, all sorts of spinouts and chine walking,,,unfortunately , she used the video camera ! When I downloaded it to the computer , it turned out to be over 650 Megs Thank God for a 320 Gig hard drive !

Will need to wait till next weekend for the reasonable size vid to be taken and then posted,,,,sorry.

Sounds like a cool project! I look forward to seeing the video. BTW, I capture video the same way( big file) then import the video into windows movie maker, then save the video. Movie maker offers several choices that allow for a smaller file size for the internet. I use the "video for broadband" option.

Giddy up....I have to see that. I have been playing with my old Cesa 1882 and I am guessing she is in the 30MPH range(SC700/X448 on 4S Lipo) and totally out of control as well.

          Cheers,
          Jim

Hey LJH what is the mm of the x448? I am going to start out with a 40mm on my SH knock off I am building. I have a 700sc, Jeti 600.

              Ken,
X448=48MM diameter. So far I have run cool using some old CP2400's 12 cell packs and 3S Lipo. I bought a couple 4S Lipo packs and things have gotten warmer but the 40 degree water seems to be keeping the temps in check so far, not sure how she will do with that prop during the summer.

              Cheers,
              Jim

Hey LJH on the 700sc try an X642 or an x645 both detounged, the smaller diameter will let the motor rev a little easier for a little more speed and wont be so aggresive with that 448, I have used these props on my LSH hydro with good results, make sure you get the X series props and detounge them yourself, as I and a few of the guys I race with have found that the M series props weigh a little more and we have been killing motors with them, we are hitting speeds of about 35-40mph with the X props, with no heat issues after a 10 lap race.
