    New Rigger, almost finished.

I have been working on this rigger hull, for quite some time now, along with my whiplash, and starting on a miss vegas 6s conversion, some chopping, glassing etc.
This hull is nearly complete, just need about 2 coats of clear on the sponsons then it is ready to hit the water.
Hull is a design from a friend on intlwaters, its a swedish nitro design, he let me have before it was public (which you can find it on intlwaters, hull is keps .21) I changed a few things, and arrived at this hull. it is 17.5" wide, and 34" long sponson tip to drive dog. Tub is about 32" I think. I have not weighed it yet, but it is very light, Until I put in those giant 5000mah, lipos.
    electronics specs are:
5000mah zippy-h lipos (2) 3s in series to make 6s, Feigao 11xl and .187 flex. I will be using a 125 himodel esc/watercooled and waterproofed, to test, but I have 3 escs I am going to use once I test things out.
This should easily be a 60mph rigger on 6s...probably faster. As the nitro version of this same design is a 70mph hull, and handles just fine. strut will start at 1" and we will go from there, turning an x640 octura. I have used this same setup in a shovelnose and another rigger around 29" and it got up and moved. Temps not even an issue, and amps, guessing below 70.

Let me know what you think, as my only concern now, is the gap between coupler, and stuffing tube. I would like it to be a larger gap , say at least 1" as its easier to remove the coupler if I was to cut the stuffing tube back, but not sure if I will tie up a .187 flex, on 6s at that distance. I have never had one tie up, but have seen it. Mainly in .150 flex though on high power.

I wanted to show you all one of my nearly complete projects that I've been working on this winter. I am very pleased with the result...and couldn't wait to share it, even before I put the 2 coats of clear on.

    Thanks
    Patrick

you need a prop with more pitch than 1.6 to hit 70mph, your setup with x640 or even x642 will get you around 60mph, btw, shorten your power wire to reducing amp draw

Thanks guys for the input....I plan on shortening the lipo power leads, soon...just got everything postioned last night. I am starting with a 640 prop first..to test then going up from there. still don't like how much of drag the last inch or so of stuffing tube causes...so trying to figure that out. whether I make a new one. or cut the existing one out and slide in a new one, with a more gentle bend. I would just cut it right where it comes through the hull/bulkhead...but have been warned that about an inch of unsupported, flex shaft could be a problem with twisting, or tying up at the flex coupler.
