    Stuffing tube liner trouble

Having trouble sliding a new teflon liner into my stuffing tube. The old one slides in and out nicely. Any tricks to get a new one in?

stretch it out, grab both ends are start to pull outwards, test fit, repeat as necessary.
My prop hasn't been wet in a while.

You could also hold it by one end and pull it through sandpaper to change the O.D. while not deforming the I.D.

Edit: Or do like I do and run without a liner. Just get the size tubing where your flexshaft just fits.
      Hope this helps.

I also used the sandpaper method which worked fine. Then lube the inside of the tube with something and it'll slide in...
