    Amperes=Watts/Volts

    One quickie for the gurus...

    I have

    1. Hobbywing 2600KV 475W max, 60A max, brushless inrunner
    2. Scorpion 6S 60A continuous ESC
    3. A choice of batteries 7.4/11.1

    Anyone that can set this straight for me please:

    The motor at 7.4V will or will not pull A=475/7.4 => A=64, and in the same manner for 11.1 will or will not pull A=475/11.1 => A=42

    All I am asking is will 11.1 Lipo be safer for my ESC?

    Thanks in advance!!!

    keep in mind that a motor rated a 60 amps can pull much more or much less than 60 amps. Its all based on the load placed on the motor. The size of the prop and the drag of the boat.
