I scored a fullers offshore cat strudder system off ebay for 60 bucks delivered. It included a .150 strut, cable, ,prop shaft, bullet tip propnut and cf prop. It's going to be way to big. What I need is 6cell riger or mono hardware.

Thanks for the offer. I have a shoppin cart made up here. I just need to decide what in my inventory to unload in order to off set costs. I will be using an 8S with an SV esc and my set of 2s lipos in parallel. I just need a rudder post and mount from fuller. I have one of the swept rudders that was cut down for the boat.

That is an H2O Cat, the predecessor to the Alley Cat. I had one, and ran it on 6 cells and a Hacker 8S motor. It was quick, but since it is narrow keep the prop diameter small, use 1/8" props.

I have a selection of plastic 1\8th octura props. Should I pick u some metal ones? I also plan on a 3\16th propshsaft turned down with a 130 cable. What prop did you get the best results with? As allways thanks.

As I recall the best were an x432 and an x435. That was with NiMH cells, and the prop was run pretty high, as high as I could get it without blowing out.

I just had an idea. What do you think about one of the smaller Graupner outboards with the 8S in it?

you can allways buy an alley cat. Ill set it up any way ya want. with the limited space inside this one i think the best result will be to have the most weight to the reer as possible with the extra room inside the hull for cg ajustment. cats need the weight in the back to fly the hull.

Catamarans are about the same as monos - the CG for either is usually best between 30-35%. I had no problem getting the CG adjusted in my H2O cat with an inboard.

Thats good to know. Thanks. I ordered the EP1. I am going to give it a shot. I think the ob unit will give it a neet scale look:).
