hey guys.
well i bought 4 of those 100 amp super simple esc's, one 70 amp my buddie and I tested these things and they are great.
we put a airplane prop on it and ran the 100 amp esc's up to 130 amps for about 30 seconds, and then put the throttle back to a continuous amp draw of 105.6 amps for the duration of time till the 3 cell battery died.
the esc's were great! they were warm after running.... however they had no cooling because they were sitting on the table !!!
and it wasn't a fluke. we did this with all 3 100 amp esc's
HOWEVER, the 70 amp esc ran up to 70 amps for a duration of the battery and it was HOT.
i think they are only good for 55-60 amps.
however it is still no replacement for a hydra 120, after a 110 amp pull for the length of the battery the hydra was cool/warm
but for 25 bucks... if you pop 3 in a race season, your still ahead!
