Mono setups...what are your actual speeds?

I am thinking of expanding my fleet of riggers and whiplash, by possibly building a mono in the 32-36" range looking at the delta force sniper, delta force copy from china...which is 32" .....A.M. No Step monos. Powered by Feigao 10 and or 11xl, 5000 mah 6s 125-200a himodel. .187 cable, octura prop, etc you get the idea that its going to be a sport setup this summer.... possibly race setup down the road. Neu is out of the question as of right now, financially. and I really like the 6s voltage as it leaves my electronics running very cool and efficient. my 31" rigger on the above mentioned setup is never far from 61mph.

Back to my original question, what sort of speeds are you actually running based on radar gun, and or data logger on a mono such as what I am hoping to setup. Anything similar, or wild...I would love to see your data on your setups....not asking for any top secret, race secrets...just real mph numbers and amps that you pull to get there and the mono hull you choose to run.
If you have the data, let it rip! data from Fe-Calc is not what I am looking for either...that is only a very very general ball park calc.

Thanks in advance guys...this is really a great forum and a lot of smart folks that have already helped me greatly in setting up my current riggers/hydros.....just by following your posts/input.

My Titan 40 clocks 50 mph in race water. I run a 1515/2D on a 1:1.27 gear box, 4S2P/8800 mAh, m445. Amp draw is around 110-120 amps. This is a highly competitive oval setup. With 6S you could get the same performance with lower amps and longer run time.

I have the "Cougar" mono as shown here

It is like a Delta force and it is + 36". Tested with Feigao 9XL and Kb45 8XL on 4s1p 4900 mah, 120A esc, speed 40-45 mph, 90 amps max., props 645,646. I am planning to run the KB with 5s2p with the HM200A when I find what I miss, Time.
It will be safer to run the 11xl on 6s, and if you go with a 36" it will be safer to use a feigao 580L. For a 36" mono you need at least 45mm diam. prop. to run properly.

Knock off delta force 29(with heavy layup), 9XL, 4s1p 4500mah Poly RC, hydra 240 and a very sharp detounged P230. 47MPH on gps with it still not aired out. Good temps.
I would put it in a DF33(knock off or real one) if i did it again.

Thank you fluid, disar, tylerm, and andym, I appreciate your setup info and numbers...this is a good place to start from. Tylerm....you mentioned your df knockoff 29, with "heavy layup" did you reinforce t he inside of the hull, throughout? let me know what you meant by that please. the 33" knock off is what I am more closely looking at as a 6s/feigao XL boat. I am expecting to get at least 50mph with 6s/feigao XL, and more would be great for a mono. I know they are harder to get running loose when compared to riggers/ 3 point full hydros but can handle the chop better...which is why I am looking at them in the first place. Plus, I love the rooster that stinger struts produce...you don't get that as much with hydros.

to all who have posted...would you guys mind, showing a pic of your inside layout? battery placement, flex shaft length etc?

            Thanks again
            Patrick

I had the hull layed up by the manufactuer with an extra layer of glass. This made an extremely durable hull weighing in at a little under 2 pounds. Then i laid a little bit of carbon down, but that would have added an un-noticeable amount of weight.
With the 6s/xl setup i would not be too worried about wieght, but by all means don't be excessive.
              Tyler.

My bad you wanted pics, heres a build thread, things look a little different know, i have a hydra 240 and i have cleaned up the inside of the boat and made it look nicer.

P.S. i only just realise how nasty the inside of my boat looked before
