    Electronics/battery setup ?

I have a Delta Force 29 with a Neu 1515 motor and hydra 240 esc. I plan on pulling under 100A with prop selection but dont know if I should run 1 4S 4950Mah pack or should I be safe and run 2 of those in parallel? I would be loosing weight with just one pack but dont know if the added weight will hurt. Keep in mind this is for sport running but run time will be short. Let me know what you would run, 2 packs or 1.

Which 1515 do you have? I would run parallel for sure. The extra weight will help keep the boat on the water.

The motor is a 1Y wind. It is a somewhat mild setup for now. I am graduating from SV27 so I hope to see the same speeds (mid to upper 40's) but without the flipping and heat caused from over loading esc/motor.

I have the Titan 29 with 15151y and two tp5000. I like the weight of two batteries. I just ran it Saturday in the chop and it handles great with the extra weight of two batteries.

What props are you using as of yet? I was thinking starting with a 645 and switching to one of these three blade cnc props.

I used to run 1p with same setup in my P hydro, its ok for 5-6 laps, temp was +/-130 degrees but with 2p even beter, faster, more agressive props and now i can run the boat up to 15 laps and lipos never get up to 120 degrees PLUS perfect weight, with your mono is even beter with 2p, just take advance of your Neu motor and 240A esc or no reason to get them if you just pulling under 100a.

Thanks guys. I am only pulling 100 amps because the motor is only rated at 1500 watts. I just hope for longevity since this boat will be used alot and hopefully year after year. Just one of those that takes a licking and keeps on kicking!!!
