hi all!
I've had fun with my Xcyclone http://perso.orange.fr/pleindetrucs/ this was my first boat, got it on Ebay for 45$, it's a ABS hull, I upgraded it with a Feigao 8xl from OSE and cheap Mystery 80A contro under 12 cells (2 GP2200 packs in parallel) with a K40,5 prop.
I think I've reached the (reasonnable) limit of this hull, I'll purchase a Eagle Tree recorder from OSE soon to see where I am (how many amp and so on...) but I don't expect to increase considerably the speed!!!
So I'm thinking about the next boat (a real good one) I'm going to build!
I know my esc is c... so I'll invest in a new one some money later if needed!
But I have no idea of a hull that would run fast and well with a 8XL under 12 cells (maybe 14 if needed)!
According to the actual setup (motor, esc, batt...) I already have, what would you guys recommend me?
