Where are these 5 blade props coming from?

I am a newbie as far as props are concerned.
I thought that 4 and up bladed props were for tugs and boats that require a lot of low rpm torque?

Extreme Offshore cats use five blade props... it is something to be considered but Peter and I could not make it work... so far. Peter is using big boat prop and I a smaller 3720/5 prop. I'll find a use for it, even if it is a key chain

Yes sharpened and balanced Gerwin , took a fairly long time to do......

Not quite sure Douggie, I think it may be the fact that the blades get too much air (aeration), but I am yet to make sure as of why...

How's this for surface drive 6 blade props X four on the M80 Stilletto. Well, probably more sub surface.
I've often thought that an M series hull would make an interesting experiment for a fast electric.
Here's a rear view & a couple of it on the run.
