    ESC Reccomendations Needed

I have been going blind checking out ESC's for my rigger and have no clue what I'm doing. I'm looking for an inexpensive ESC without reverse for a 10T and up brushed motor. So far I have a Futaba 2PH transmitter and receiver, a Traxxas 12T motor, 6 cell 7.2Volt 2000mah Nicad battery packs. Could anyone reccomend a decent inexpensive ESC for this setup.... Thank You in advance

Why on earth would you want reverse in a rigger?

Edit: Oh, I read your post again, and it said "WITHOUT" reverse. Sorry, I got it wrong.

R/C Hydros: Very good. Jeti 600: Also very good. AstroFlight: OK, but I prefer the former two. Chinese: Take your chances.

RC-Hydros is by far the best if you can get one. Advertise in the for sale here and on Rumrunner.

I tried a google search for R/C Hydros and all I get are boats or boat kits of hydros. Maybe electric wasn't such a hot idea... glow fuelers were so easy. Guess being a newbie makes me a low class dummy

As, I stated on another forum do a search within their search engines and then do an ebay search...Is that too hard?

The Jeti 600 is available right here at OSE. $ 75.99, very decent SC. The RC Hydros
are great/rare but check the swap shops here or at RRR. Put out a " want to buy" post.

thank you chopper I did a search at OFE for the Jeti 600 but it doesn't state how many turns it will run. This is what confuses me I read that you have to match the motor turns with the esc correct? I see alot of esc's that give the current, the number of cells, the voltage, but nothing about the turns this is what has me all messed up.

I've run my Jeti 600 with twin 21 turn Titan motors on 14 NIMH cells with no problem, and again with an SC 700 motor in my Twinstorm with props up an M645.
I doubt that your setup will pull more amps than those setups. Anyway, initiating a collection of toasted speed controls kinda' goes with the territory, so to speak ! Remember to start with a small prop; check temps, & work your way up.
