    Just got a Shockwave 26

Well I got this for a good deal and its going to be my first boat..please take a look at the pics and maybe steer me in the right decision making.....I got it without electronics so I think I will use my

#1-feigao 9l with 1/8 shaft and the included cooler you see
    #2-hitec 645 servo
    #3-what esc should I get...hextronics what amp?
#4-I need some props.....would like to get this boat to 45mph maybe 50
#5-do you think that steerable prop will hold up
#6and should I run this on 3s or 4s lipo
#8-also want to use my dx3.0 spektrum tx/rx..will she work ok?

anything you think I should do to add strength?

Before you sink money in her, I'd suggest looking for a cheap SV27 to replace that with. It will probably take more to get the SW26 up to the same performance of the SV27, not to mention the headache and patience.

Otherwise, I'm remove that steerable knuckle drive and replace with a flex shaft, strut, and rudder.
My prop hasn't been wet in a while.

Great! You will be more pleased with the power and performance of the SV27 or UL1 over this boat everyday of the week. Plus these boats won't require much of anything out the boat for good sport running performance!!!
