    trimming down props

Hi all, i just got my graupner 51mm props for my villain ex. i understand that i shouldnt use larger than 48mm but they dont have those. what is an effective and safe way to trim down the props...ie which tools are best and how do i do it without changing the shape of the props.

    thanks

you can use a file or for faster results a dremel tool with a disc sander. Start at the tongue and end at the tip. Remove an even amount from the whole leading edge. If you use a disc sander end with the straight file to leave a sharp edge. A note: One prop is larger than the other straight from Graupner. In the end you should make both props the same size.

Thanks for the advice Steve. That is the answer i was looking for . I do have a dremel so i will go that route. Btw, you guys have great follow up. I received my blades with a few days or placing the order. On a separate note (but since you responded), i also ordered the auto bailer for my villain ex but it seems too large to fit below the water pickup... any suggestions.

        thanks

I'm not sure on fitting the bailer. I have had other people use them, but I'm not sure how they fitted it.
