    Thanks Steve!

I didn't know where to put this in the new forum so I'm throwing it here.

A big THANK YOU to Steve for donating an Aeromarine Mean Machine 18 that we are giving away to some lucky person who shows up at our Kalamazoo Fun Run on May 19th.
We've now got people coming in from Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin and Kentucky for this little event. They're crazier than I am for driving that far but we're going to have a good time.
If anyone wants to show up, let me know and I'll give you directions. No boat is needed but we welcome everyone with any kind of boat that you have from a department store toy up to the high-dollar nitro 'riggers.
I will be posting a lot of shots and videos from the event. Mark "ob nut" Scott is bringing his new camera so he should be posting a ton of pix also. Look on R/C Flix later Saturday night or Sunday.

        Spring Valley Park.
We will be starting at 9;00 AM and running until whenever we're tired. The drawing will be at around 1:30 PM as one of my friends is coming down from Cedar Springs and his kids have soccer games that he has to be at.
Steve, I tried to fire it up today and had it running a little but the owners manual didn't come with it. I need the starting point for the carb. I went with 2-1/2 turns out then 3 but haven't found the spot quite yet.
Another person showing up from Fennville is donating a gallon of fuel for the boat.

Ron, that's what I talked about in the emails. First generation didn't idle well. I will contact Aero about the exact setting.

            Thanks Steve.
I have another carb that I should be able to put on if I need to that should really wake up the engine and I know where that one needs to be set at.

I've got people coming up from Indy and Wisconsin not to mention Ohio, Illinois and one from Kentucky. I wouldn't drive that far for an event like this but they're all welcome.
The weather should be nice according to the forecasts, lows in the low 50's and highs just above 70 with mostly sunny skies. I'm not really trusting the weather people right now as it is supposed to be cooling down to what they predicted the 30's but at 1:13 AM it's 73 degrees. They're just a tad off. :D

We have a winner! Amy Geisen won the Aeromarine Mean Machine 18 that was donated by Steve. Walt Radzinski also threw in 2 gallons of Wildcat 25% nitro to get the new owner started.

I've got more coming that I'll put in RC Flix. Expect to see others as OB Nut took a lot of shots yesterday.
