    Silicones

    Everyone;

    Time to save some $$$$

    If you go to Dow Corning's web site, they offer free samples of many of their products.

    I use #3145 RTV (clear) to seal many of my LiPos as well as other uses. Its actually a silicone adhesive that REALLY adheres to anything, much more so than generic silicones from home improvement centers.

    The samples are 90 Ml (3 Fl Oz), about the size of a tube of toothpaste, and would normally cost $30.00 each

    You can request up to 3 samples.

    Enjoy

      Be careful most silicones give off acetic acid that can corrode connections. They do make neutral cure silicones for electrical use.
