    Wire drive for P open

    Hi all.
I am just getting backing in RC boats and I am looking at building a new rigger for 4s with wire drive.
Will be something like a TP 2450kv so I would say x545 prop. Been so long I am not sure what I will need on the back.
Living in Australia I was not game to order a stub with wire and have it arrive straight.
Is piano wire (spring steel?) what I need or is it a special wire?

I have ordered 3/16 stubs and collets for 2mm wire

    Any help / recommendations appreciated.

    Thank you
    Warren

just be aware that wire drives tend to be a pain in the ass. They like to slip in the collets.

Yep I do have that concern and at this stage I?m yet to find a suitable shaft saver to fit.
I?m only looking at a wire due to the shaft length I plan to run.

Thx as this helps me cover all the cons
