out board advice

i am building a 36 inch version of a ski vee 40 mono hull. question is would a pair of tfl scale outboards withe the 3660 motors work on this boat ?? tks AL

3660 motor with a scale gear-driven outdrive on a 36" hull sounds awfully small to me. I'd be looking at a 7.5 lower unit with a 40mm can on it for a hull of that size.

Search "TFL Scale Outboard" on YouTube. Lots of vids of them running on different boats. I have one on the way for my Dumas Hot Shot 3.5 tunnel.
I was rather impressed with how they performed.
