TFL outboard Lower unit- How To

Does anyone have this unit from OSE? Using it on a boat?
I am new to boating and have questions.
I just got the unit and will use it on a 27-inch wood tunnel hull. I have a LP 3650 and will start with 2S-3S.
The product came with no instructions how to properly connect the motor and the water lines.
Do you have any videos or suggestions?

Just hook the water pickup on the lower to the esc first then connect to the water jacket on the OB. I have been testing a hydro with that lower and the propshaft froze up and the cable broke with little use on it and was well oiled. Good news is the OS propshaft is interchangeable as is the OS flexshaft. problem solved.

Question- in addition to the pickup, there are 2 water inlets on the OB. Do you use them? If so, how?

The two other fittings are for lubricant. Hook up an oiler to the lower one and shoot a few cc'c of oil in the upper which will fill the cavity under the motor and go down and lube the shaft

I am not following you.
The water inlet and outlet are for water, not lubrication.
I am curious to know how you use them.

Here's how I have my outboard tunnel boats water cooling routed. Single water pick up located in the prop wash, goes to lower water fitting on motor(inlet), upper(outlet) water fitting on motor goes to ESC inlet, ESC outlet dumps back out over transom. Good luck happy boating

I seem to have done it opposite of you.
Prop wash goes to top of water inlet and out the lower outlet
My ESC is cooled with a separate line and pickup that I mounted on the back of hull

NO Wrong, That' s what HTVboats was trying to say those two fittings are for lube. Upper fitting is for flex shaft lube point, lower fitting is for prop shaft lube point. Motor needs a water jacket installed for cooling.

I have been looking for a manual or picture of the unit properly connected.
Do you know where I can get a manual?
Or a picture?
So I am still need more info.
According to Youtube, what I found is the way to lube the shaft is to remove it and rub lube on it. How can I verify this?

You need Leo # 36x40 mm red water jacket for the motor. ( $10 OSE store) Older outboard lower units you needed to remove the flex shaft to rub grease / lube directly onto shaft. Newer O S and TFL lower units have two, upper flex shaft & lower prop shaft grease / lube fittings installed, no longer need to remove the shaft to grease.

I found a youtube that shows he greases by removing it. Very easy.
If those holes are for grease, what type of grease do you use?
The grease I use is not liquid but a solid. So the holes are not usable.

On my old K&B lower I have to remove the flex shaft, also if I pull the shaft on any others , I use white lithium smeared all over the shaft, after every three full runs. Any marine grease should work fine. LOL I've even used Harley axle grease! Whatever you got should work fine just keep it well greased / lubed. On the newer O S and TFL lower units I use the grease pump and grease from Dynamite sold here at the OSE store in the lower prop shaft only. On the O S & TFL upper flex shaft grease / lube fitting I use vegetable oil or corn oil whatever the wife has on the shelf. Inserted with CC measuring syringe and short piece of tubing, and lube it up often, its safe biodegradable.
