How do the ride pads look on my boat?

    https://www.reddit.com/r/radiocontrol/s/Q5YgA5xgLH

I posted a video showing the ride pads on my 36? Miss Geico on a different forum. No responses there yet.

    What do you guys think?

I?m trying to figure out why this boat is so bouncy. I?ve tried severals props, multiple different battery configurations, different motors, every strut position you can think of, I?ve tried everything short of modifying the ride pads in some sort of way. At this point I can confidently say I have no idea what I?m doing.

I just want to go 80+ and I know it can do it. I see videos of bone stock unmodified MG boats going 90+

I?ve posted here a few times lately asking for advice and I?ve tried everything you guys have recommended except for modifying the ride pads. I?m thinking that?s what is holding me back

Honestly, terrible. I know its an RTR, and you can't expect what you would from an artisan made race boat, but damn they don't care at all and are only out to shift boxes.

I wonder if there is a customer services department you can show that video to, and see if they will replace it or refund you?

In the time passed since I?ve made this post, the geico crashed at 65mph and split the hull wide open. Huge crack down the side. I?m prepping it for a complete repair and rebuild. Fiberglass and epoxy reinforcement inside and out with a new paint job. These hulls are garbage.

Easy for me to say cuz it's not my money, but I would gut all the parts and drop them into a different hull all together.

Zonda is going to have the same problem. Most boats that go above 65 are going to come apart when we tumble them. Unless that thing is all carbon fiber it?s going to come apart. If you among for 90 and that thing blows over or stuffs. Good luck with any boat surviving.

I?ve seen a few 90+ crashes that survived, it all depends on how it impacts the water
