    Course design

I used to race IC boats on Sunset Park in Las Vegas but have now moved to France and am taking up the hobby again.
Our commune owns a small lake and I have asked for permission to run electric boats and also to lay out a course for racing - so I need to come up with a design and not sure where to start.
The lake (currently empty but will be filled shortly) is about 2 acres and has a raised dam/causeway with railings that is ideal for drivers to stand and look down onto the course.
Can anyone suggest a design that I can submit - I imagine about 8 buoys will be allowed.
It also needs to be within a castable distance for retrieval as no manned boats will be allowed.

In France I'd make a Naviga course to fit in with the existing FE racing scene, for surface drive it has 60m straights with 7.5m radius turns on the end, made with buys of over 200mm diameter, that poke 200-300mm high out of the water and is set 15m from the bank.
