Hello,
Have a boat (racing rigger) it uses a 1.5mm (0.062) cable and a 4mm shaft with 4mm props on it. the stub / bearing setup is for a 4mm shaft and it isnt easily modified.
Jeff wholt used to make one but when i tried to buy, its no longer something he regularly produces,
Is there anything stopping me buying a 0.062 (1.5mm) to 3/16 shaft and sticking it in the lathe down to 4mm, leaving the dog dive etc 3/16?
I know the Etti 4mm to 3/16" exists but im a little hesitant to try it...
Also where do people source raw piano wire?
Kind regards, Liam
