well i saw a video of a guy with a similar cat to mine his is a bk cool runnings mine is a bk badit s..... he has a fiego 7xl on 16 cells and its gettin down...... if i decided to do a 7xl how many amps would the speed control have to be in your guys opinion..... i already have a 70 amp esc would that be enough or should i shoot for more

I have run 7XLs on 18 high-end cells in hydros - it is a very high-power setup, close to SAWs power. You can't find a prop small enough to keep the amp draw much below 100 IME. I used a Barracuda 125 and it worked fine. Don't run it for more than a minute without checking the heat.
The Bandit has issues in turns with high power. It needs a turn fin to race competitively, but it is still cranky. With moderate power it isn't bad.

im just sprot running and checkin my options...... if anything it will be a saw boat next year.... so a cuda 125 16 cells and 7xl would be safe......what kind of speeds would i be lookin at60% of the time... it works every time!Comment

what about 2 sv motors and speed controls...would that be reasonable......im really just wantin to make this thing fast.....right now its runnin at 41.3 fastest.....and run times and heat are amaizing..... maybe ill just prop up.....im runnin x440......maybe ill try a 2 blade what should i try60% of the time... it works every time!Comment
