    DY Motors Zonda Nightmare

Bought a hull and hardware Zonda. Came completely different from what I ordered. Only 2 water pickups in the far back not 4 like shown in the pictures. No exhaust water outlets in the rear. The double carbon inlay doesn't even go up to the seem where the hull is joined. He's now trying to say the single water pickup on each side is the new upgrade lol. Learn from my mistake and don't buy from him. I also bought an extra set of flex cables from him, and he didn't send the set that comes with the boat because he says you don't need 4! He stopped responding when I asked to return it. I opened a PayPal dispute. Side note i ordered it in Kevlar, he switched it on me with the carbon with a scale rudder upgrade and made me pay an extra $40 . Wish me luck.

That's an unfortunate customer service experience. Hopefully Paypal will get you some results. They tend to pull funds first, then get their questions answered. Hopefully that helps tilt the scales in your favor.

Um Pretty sure that's the TFL Genesis. If you do a Google search that's what the newer Genesis looks like. https://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pr...in-carbonfiber

I thought the same thing, but it?s a little wider, it?s 38? and it?s also flat between sponsens where it looks like the newer Genesis has a little V shape.

That?s what I was thinking. I just want to return it. I sent PayPal his website, description, and photos of what I receive so I?m thinking they will go in my favor. But now I?m stuck here in purgatory with 2 TP motors I just got from OSE. I just message Steve to see if I can return the motors and just buy a RTR ZONDA.

Correct. My TFL pursuit, carbon fiber (single layer) has less light coming through. I can only imagine that the single layer looks like a glass bottom boat.

It's the same hull, from the same manufacturer
