You can actually buy a shaft too long and cut it with a Dremel.

Remove 3 bolts on the stinger, remove it, loosen the collar, then pull the shaft.
It?s actually not that bad on this boat, but on my twin Cheetah it?s annoying lining up the drives.

I ditched the two piece TFL stinger shaft setup on mine as well. Simply cut down a regular flex shaft to size and convert it all to one piece as Ray said. Then you can simply slide the shaft out like normal from the collet without touching the stinger. That stinger looks to be the same one I'm currently running assuming your boat is about the same size as mine at 36"

Here is what I use with the 3.25" stub, but I need to cut about a foot off of the 24" version for my setup: https://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pr...ose-cable-1190

Mine is a 29?. I?ve just been unsure on the stub length.

That shaft look like it will work perfect with some trimming. I?m sure 3 1/2 inches is enough stub.

Yes, that is perfect stub length through the stinger. You dont want a too long stub that will start to hit any slight bend that is inevitably in your stuffing tube
