I just read on the International Waters forum that Ron Greene, also known as Captain Ron, passed away last weekend...

As much as Ron and I didn't get along at times, it's still sad to lose someone in this hobby.

I promised Ron a trip to the Lighthouse jazz club in Hermosa Beach when he came to L.A. He never made it, but my mono has the benefits of his strongly voiced setup advice. He was right, even though I doubted him. Thanks, Brother.
